This is an old family recipe that's always won rave reviews from guests. Best served with saltines, some shredded cheddar, and some corn bread. 3-3.5 lbs lean hamburger 1 medium onion chopped 1 large green pepper 1 32oz can tomatoes sauce 1 16 oz can of diced tomatoes (with green chili's) 1 16 oz can [...]

Here is another 5 star recipe lifted from Cooking Light. I can't say that everything from cooking light is indeed "light", but it's usually good. Haven't made this for anyone but Gretchen yet, but she loved it. It's an alternative to making the usual lasagna for us. The pepperoncini add a great level of spice [...]

Got this from the Rachael Ray 30-minute meal book. The basic recipe is simple and easy, almost too easy. So I'd recommend adding some chicken or sausage chunks. Gret and I have also learned that (out of necessity) raspberry vodka will work as well. 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, once around the pan in a [...]

Hopefully they will resolve this dispute by then and people with comcast will enjoy uninterupted access to MLB games. Cable television said it offered to match DirecTV's deal for the "Extra Innings" package of out-of-market games, but Major League Baseball claimed the proposal fell short. I could see this playing out just as described at Vandy. All the way from the bouncy "um… it sounds like it would be fun" to the overly concerned "lets cut the ad out of every paper that ran on campus". Always something to see on campus there was. The only concern I have is [...]

No matter what, Prison Break was never intended to be a long-running series. At first, people behind the show though it could last three seasons being laid out as follows: Season 1 = in prison, Season 2 = on the run, Season 3 = back in prison; but that the best plan was surely only [...]

Looks like baseball players have discovered the internet. Shilling having a blog is awesome. Manny selling stuff on e-bay… that's just strange. The first place to look for a mammoth $4,000 grill is of course in Manny's garage – and you'll find it on Ebay. We can't find a model number for this monstrosity, but [...]

I agree with Gretchen. Who are we to root for now on the Amazing Race given this depressing development… Rob & Amber [ELIMINATED]: Oh, damn! I was really rooting for these two. But Rob's inability to spell totally lost it for them. He started acting out after they fell behind during the first challenge and [...]

Worms was released to Xbox Live Arcade today and is well worth the purchase. I played the hell out of the PC game in college and this doesn't stray far from the origionals. Now if they'd just let me download custom sounds for them it would be hella-sweet.
