A Great Sell, Sox Opening Letter to Schilling in 2003

November 7, 2007

It's pretty cool to have someone as outspoken and transparent as Curt Schilling blogging about his baseball accomplishments. For me his blog has been inspirational and educational when it comes to my hobby of playing baseball.  The post I'm linking to here is a repost of the letter the Sox sent to him in 2003 [...]

Today's game is iether going to be a classic or a big let down.  Doesn't look to be building up as anything in between. Dice-K versus Ichiro AND Dice-K versus the phenom Felix AND the first home start for Boston's 103 million dollar man.  I'd tape the game and watch it when I get home, but [...]

Dice-K more fastball than I expected

April 5, 2007

Watching the highlights from Dice-K's debut was reminiscent of Pedro in his prime. Lot more of his swings and misses where on fastballs than I expected.  But it was also clear that his change-up was also in top form.  He also seemed to keep the ball down very well.  Can't wait to watch a game [...]

The best form of the post game interview…

April 4, 2007

Why in the world would an athlete in today's world subject themselves to the standard boring post game interview if they could just blog about why the did or did not perform. Plus, as a baseball junkie I love hearing the [...]

At least I can enjoy my Red Sox games till 2009

March 22, 2007

Hopefully they will resolve this dispute by then and people with comcast will enjoy uninterupted access to MLB games.  Cable television said it offered to match DirecTV's deal for the "Extra Innings" package of out-of-market games, but Major League Baseball claimed the proposal fell short. Web Savy Red Sox

March 21, 2007

Looks like baseball players have discovered the internet. Shilling having a blog is awesome. Manny selling stuff on e-bay… that's just strange.  The first place to look for a mammoth $4,000 grill is of course in Manny's garage – and you'll find it on Ebay. We can't find a model number for this monstrosity, but [...]
